Atheism shows strength of mind, but only to a certain degree.

Blaise Pascal was a French mathematician, physicist, inventor, writer and Christian philosopher. Pascal's earliest work was in the natural and applied sciences where he made important contributions to the study of fluids, and clarified the concepts of pressure and vacuum by generalizing the work of Evangelista Torricelli. After three years of effort and fifty prototypes, he built 20 finished machines (Pascal's calculators, Pascalines), establishing him as one of the first two inventors of the mechanical calculator. His notable contributions to science included 'Pascal's Wager', 'Pascal's triangle', 'Pascal's law' and 'Pascal's theorem'.
